Home is the perfect place for a newborn and baby shoot, so long as the conditions are right. All I need is some good natural light, and we can usually make anywhere work.
My approach with newborn and baby shoots is very natural, and focuses on connections. You can read more about this here.
Home isn’t always perfect for a general photoshoot, but there are always exceptions to the rule.
If you are hoping to have a home shoot, let’s have a chat. I am an outdoor photographer who works with natural light, so I would always look at the outside space you can offer. If you are hoping I can capture your beautiful flower beds, you may end up disappointed, as my priority will always be about photographing people and where the light is best to do this. I’m often drawn to the wilder edges of a garden, rather than the perfectly manicured lawn, so a larger garden with variety and open shade is a must. I have photographed families in some amazing outdoor spaces at home, and this has created some wonderful opportunities such as including horses and family pets.
