Natural family photography across Dumfries & Galloway

My photography sessions are about more than just getting a nice portrait of the family. They’re about capturing special moments and genuine connections,  making memories that will last for generations.

Each session is relaxed, guided by natural light, and set in the stunning landscapes of Dumfries & Galloway. From the coastline to quiet woodlands, your family’s story is captured naturally, in a style that is uniquely yours.

These photographs aren’t just for now.
They’re for the years ahead — and the generations after that.

What To Expect

All sessions include:

  • A detailed welcome email with styling advice and preparation tips
  • A pre-session chat to plan location and details
  • A relaxed, natural session for up to an hour, in a mutually agreed location within D&G
  • Careful hand-editing of your images
  • A private online gallery (open for 12 months)
  • The option to purchase prints, albums and additional digital images

You can expect between 30–200 fully edited images, depending on the session type.

During busy periods, please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery — each gallery is edited personally and with care.

Session Options

Mini Sessions

Short, seasonal sessions held on selected Spring and Autumn dates.

  • 15 minutes
  • Set location
  • 30–50 edited images in your gallery

Ideal for a quick family update.

Because of the short time frame, these sessions aren’t always suited to children who need longer to settle.

Full Family Sessions

A more relaxed and personalised experience.

Up to one hour at a mutually agreed location within Dumfries & Galloway — at home or outdoors somewhere meaningful to you.

Well suited to:

  • Newborn sessions
  • Babies and toddlers
  • Larger family groups
  • Children who need time to warm up
  • Families who want a more natural, storytelling feel

You’ll receive 50–200 edited images in your private gallery.

Session Only – £90

Digital Collection

20 selected high resolution digital images from the session – £190

Complete Collection

All high resolution digital images from the session, fully edited – £390

Two sessions across your baby’s first year:

  • One in the early months (newborn included)

Photoshoot & Coffee Table Book Package

A single session plus a 26-page hardback coffee table book, professionally designed using your chosen images.

Once you’ve selected your favourites, I design the layout and keep you involved throughout.

Additional spreads can be added if required.
